The Sensation Treeless Saddle Dressage model has all of the same features as the Sensation English Trail model (English Trail info click here) with the following changes:

• Straighter more vertical and longer flaps allows for a more 'classically correct' leg.

• Higher pommel and cantle provides a deeper seat.

• Hidden front Dees (No rear rings or crupper ring as standard; rear rings may be added for $10 per ring, 7-10 additional days needed for customization).

• The Sensation Dressage does NOT have a carrying strap.

Sensation G4 Formal Dressage Model

The G4 Formal Dressage model competes with the best in terms of sheer beauty & comfort for both horse and rider. The biggest change in comparison to the the well-loved standard dressage model is that instead of a hard use buckle at the base of the flap, there is a billet strap for this purpose. This enables the rider to place the buckle according to individual need. Since there are 3 billet straps, the rider can use any one of the 3 they wish for the hard use feature allowing the ultimate in precise alignment. If the rider chooses to ride free swing, then the extra billet tucks neatly into the Sensation girth billet keeper. The seat has also been redesigned on this model to have "jockeys" which give extra coverage over the stirrup attachment rings to prevent rider irritation when using regular english leathers for free swing. This seat is also availble to retrofit any Sensation english model at $100.00 CDN. The flaps are also 2" longer than the G3 as well.

Recommendations

• That adequate saddle padding be used, according to discipline and rider/horse requirements. Your saddle pad should have a contoured topline as well as padding on either side of the spine, but not on the spine.

• Self-centering girth - to have an even pull on the rigging

• Elastic in the girth - for breathing room

The Sensation all-leather version incorporates all the most popular features of the original Sensation design with the added benefits of improved materials in the seat for rider comfort, leather bound edges and overall firmer materials.

As with the original Sensation Ride - the Sensation Dressage is well suited to the round backed, low-withered horse. Breeds typically having this conformation include, but not limited to, Andalusians, Friesians, Morgans, Missouri Fox trotters, Icelandics, Draft and draft crosses, Arabians and Fjords.

The Sensation is best mated to a breathable, shock absorbing, contoured saddle pad. Regular stirrup irons or endurance stirrups fit well to the stirrup leathers provided.

Also available is the Sensation self-centering girth, a girth that has been designed to maximize the benefits of the Sensation Ride. Standard dressage girths will also fit the Sensation Ride.
